The Perfect Tool Roll
|
| Review Date: October 19, 2007 |

| I needed to replace an old vinyl tool roll in the car and looked at this Ergodyne model as well as the similar offerings from Bucket Boss and Custom Leathercraft. The deal sealer for me was the quick release buckles on the Ergodyne. I just can't see going with straps you have to thread or tie or any that depend on elastic or friction to hold. The socket storage is also a winner: 3 equal pockets that close under a common Velcro cover. Some may prefer a dedicated strip or dedicated pockets, but Ergodyne is the most versatile, particularly if you want to store something other than sockets in there. Also I think the Bucket Boss color scheme of green/brown is fairly ugly, and I'm not a big fan of their ripstop material. The Ergodyne has a much nicer black/gray color and uses a tough ballistic nylon fabric. |

I've got two of these, one holds mostly hammer drill bits, the other a variety of tools. Although I also carry tool bags ~ one for rock shaping tools, one for everything else ~ these really help keep things neat and easily accessible.
The locking buckles are great, and the quality of the material and construction is excellent. |
Great roll!

| This is nice, although the sizes they chose to make the pockets seems a little arbitrary, but that depends on what you are trying to put in it. I filled it with screwdrivers and some small pliers. Build quality is high, and it rolls up well. Nothing falls out for me. I need a bigger toolbox to put this in though, since it is a bit bulky. |
Great Item for Piano Tuners

This little pouch has all the room you'll ever need for small tools. I use it for piano tuning tools. It has many small pouches for rubber mutes, stick mutes, tuning forks, etc.
And it all rolls up in a small easy to carry package!!! |
Ergodyne Tool roll up pouch organizer

| Great little tool organizer. Got it for the various metric and SAE tools for my motorcycle. Has handy socket pouch with velcro flaps the secure the sockets. Thinking about getting their wrench rollup organizer pouch. Great price and so little to pay for being better organized. |
