How many times have you said to yourself ” Now where did I put that ” whatever it was you were looking for ? I’ll bet you’ve said it many times and not because your getting old and forgetful but simply because you live in a home full of clutter. Organizing clutter is one of the most time saving things you can do to improve your quality of life.

 Just think about it for a moment, every room in your home could benefit from organizing clutter. How about your bathroom, do you leave jewelry on the sink? When your applying your makeup do you have to rummage through draws to find just the right shade of lipstick your looking for that day? Maybe you have run out of toothpaste, now where did you put that spare tube?

All these problems can be solved by organizing clutter in the bathroom. If you have drawers, create sections to keep specific items in and make sure you always put them back in the right place. Keep towels neatly stacked in the closet ready for when you need them. Throw away all those old lipsticks, eye liner pens, face creams, foot creams, bath salts and everything else that you no longer use.

 Guy’s your just as bad as the women, you purchased a new deodorant but now you decide you don’t like the smell or it doesn’t keep you dry. Throw it away don’t clutter up your bathroom cabinet with things your not going to use again.

There is no point in hording all this useless stuff like a human pack rat. Throw out everything in your bathroom cabinets that you haven’t used in the last few months and only keep the essentials you use everyday. The simplest way to organizing clutter is to avoid cluttering up the home in the first place.

Organizing clutter in the kitchen can be easily accomplished if you have the right amount of kitchen cabinets and drawers available, there are a multitude of items you can purchase to improve clutter control such as draw dividers, wire shelving racks to give more space in your cupboards.

 Try not to clutter up your work surface areas with things that should be placed back in a cupboard or draw. Don’t be tempted to purchase the very latest kitchen gadget every time your spot something in Wal-Mart. Stop and ask yourself two questions.

1. Do I have room to put this in my kitchen?

2. Do I really need this ?

I can’t tell you the number of kitchen gadgets I’ve purchased thinking I couldn’t live without it only to find out later that it either didn’t live up to expectations or it was so much trouble to clean after using it I just never could be bothered to drag it out in the first place.

So they get left cluttering up valuable kitchen space. Organizing clutter really begins by assessing your situation, deciding what things you really need to keep, then planning a strategy to organize your clutter into a friendly working environment that will help you live a less stressful life.
